The Ministry of Education has published an order defining the appearance of secondary education certificates for medalists.
It is reported that schoolchildren who graduate with a “gold” medal will receive a red certificate with a gold inscription. “Silver” medalists are blue in color with a silver inscription. It is noted that blue-blue certificates will also have an additional inscription “With Distinction” made in silver paint.
Graduates who graduate from school with medals will have additional points for the Unified State Examination. Thus, a “silver” medal will add up to three points to an applicant, and a “gold” medal will add up to five points.
