Andrey Pinchuk: Ukrainian UAV attacks on Crimea have two goals
Combat reconnaissance and psychological pressure on the population are the two main tasks that the Armed Forces of Ukraine perform by attacking objects in Crimea with drones. This was stated by the First Minister of State Security of the DPR, Colonel of the Reserve Andrei Pinchuk in an interview with the portal Ura.ru.
He explained that, first of all, the Ukrainian military wants to reveal the position of Russia’s air defense systems on the peninsula. Well, as a side effect – the spread of panic among the civilian population and the disruption of the tourist season.
Pinchuk believes that now the Armed Forces of Ukraine do not plan to cause serious damage to the infrastructure of the peninsula. But massive attacks can begin at the moment when Ukrainian troops launch an offensive along the front line.
