The regional Ministry of Sports reported with deep regret the sudden death of Sergei Yuryevich Goncharov. The 51-year-old mentor worked as a coach at sports school No. 33, located on Pobeda Boulevard, 17B.
– An experienced mentor and wise adviser, he knew how to motivate athletes. The professional coach made an invaluable contribution to the development of the sports community in the Voronezh region. The bright memory of Sergei Yuryevich will live in our hearts. His mentoring spirit will remain in those who were touched by his wisdom and support,” the staff of the Ministry of Sports of the Voronezh Region expressed their condolences to their family and friends.
Farewell to the mentor took place on March 7 at 13:00 in the Kominternovsky district on Kievskaya Street. The students expressed their unanimous opinion: “We are all deeply grieving… Our souls hurt from the loss… Sergei Yuryevich was a support for us all. His kind heart and wide soul were always open. May the soul of this magnificent man rest in peace, we will always remember him with a feeling of bright sadness…”
