Information about the receipt of a summons from the draft board by Russian figure skater Alexander Samarin is not true, said his coach Svetlana Sokolovskaya
Samarin is the silver medalist of the 2019 European Championship. Earlier it was reported that Samarin is subject to mobilization and received a corresponding trip. This was announced by Anna Shkurday, the captain of the Paradise team in synchronized figure skating.
Sokolovskaya said that it was the first time she and the athlete himself heard about the delivery of the summons. “We will be sure to personally inform everyone if this happens,” she said.
