234 people from eight municipalities of the region took part in the chess championship of the Tyumen region among boys and girls. The competitions were held at three venues in Tyumen, the guys played according to the Swiss system in 9 rounds with a time control of 50 minutes + 10 seconds per move.
Among the youngest chess players, Lev Gudovany and Victoria Tochilkina became the best, in the older age category – Pavel Trofimov and Tatyana Abramova. The winners of the first places will go to the Ural Federal District chess championship, which will be held in Yekaterinburg.
