The e-visa program has been operational since August 2023. During all this time, the Chinese were provided with 112,927 permits to enter Russia.

As Galina Dekhtyar, professor at the Department of Business Process Management at the Faculty of Market Technologies at the Institute of Economics and Public Administration, RANEPA, said, thanks to this program you can get a visa without leaving your home. Tourists can receive an entry permit for 60 days with the right to stay in Russia for 16 days.

According to the Chairman of the RF Chamber of Commerce and Industry Committee on Entrepreneurship in the Sphere of Tourism, Vice-President of the Russian Union of Tourism Industry Yuri Barzykin, the tourism support measure in the form of issuing electronic visas has significantly ensured the influx of foreign citizens.
