The Chinese advertising agency BlueFocus decided to replace copywriters and graphic designers with a neural network, informed Bloomberg.

“To embrace the new wave of AI-generated content [ИИ]as of today, we have decided to stop all spending on third-party copywriters and designers,” the company said in a statement.

The agency plans to abandon freelance designers and copywriters and replace it with a neural network following the example of the existing ChatGPT – for this, BlueFocus turned to the Alibaba Group holding company and to the Baidu search engine for the opportunity to license such technology.

Against the backdrop of the emergence of information about the plans of BlueFocus, its shares rose by almost 19%, Bloomberg notes. At the same time, by the close of trading on April 14, growth was replaced by a fall of 7.5%.

April 13 Bloomberg informed about creating your own neural network using the available basic technologies, which were also used when creating ChatGPT from OpenAI. The news agency said that the neural network is intended only for internal use – in particular, it will be able to compose a headline for a small news item, name the head of a particular company, and also provide data on its financial situation.

According to the Institute, the lack of control over laboratories for the production of neural networks can be dangerous for society and a pause for six months will allow AI laboratories and independent experts “to jointly develop and implement a set of common security protocols for advanced AI design and development.”
