The capital’s nurse became the winner of the All-Russian competition “Best in Profession”

The summing up of the results of the All-Russian competition “Best in Profession – 2022” in the nomination “Best Nurse in Primary Health Care” took place in Moscow. Elizaveta Medvedeva, nurse of the ophthalmological department of the city polyclinic No. 22, became the winner of the competition.

As the winner said, she prepared for the competition very seriously – she read literature, watched videos on her profession, consulted with colleagues and took advanced training courses.

“The competitions at the federal stage turned out to be difficult – the level of qualification of colleagues from the regions was very high,” said Elizaveta Medvedeva. – I am happy that I managed to show my best qualities and win.

The All-Russian Competition of Professional Skills “Best in Profession – 2022” is held in Russia at the initiative of the National Agency for the Development of Qualifications, as well as relevant departments. As Artem Shadrin, General Director of the Agency, in all professions, there is an increasing need for skills such as emotional intelligence and a flexible approach in general.

— The competition is an important tool for promoting working professions, attracting the attention of young people to them,” said Artem Shadrin. — As part of the competition, excursions of schoolchildren and students to enterprises are held, interactive programs are being implemented, during which young people choosing a profession can communicate with the best representatives of a particular specialty and ask questions of interest to them.

By the way, with regard to the healthcare system, Russia has 1 million 490 thousand employees with a secondary medical education. 39 winners of the regional stages took part in the federal stage of the contest “The Best Nurse in Primary Health Care”. The competitions were held in offices that completely simulated the conditions of medical institutions equipped with modern equipment. This was done so that the participants felt like they were in the workplace and could show their skills and abilities to the maximum.
