In total, about 4 billion rubles will be allocated for priority research and development work. In addition to developing research in the space industry, funds will also be used to develop electricity storage technologies. Almost 1.7 billion rubles have been allocated for this. We are talking about establishing the production of battery cells and materials for the production of modern batteries for a wide range of applications.
In early October, the head of Roscosmos, Yuri Borisov reportedthat the state corporation has begun work on a constellation of ultra-small satellites “Griffin”, designed to monitor the Earth’s surface. “These are 136 devices in orbit, which will provide high-intensity information about any territory of our country and the entire world,” he said.
According to him, the system also provides for a wide ground network for receiving and processing information. It is expected that “Griffin” will allow receiving up-to-date information at least 40 hours around the world and every 30 hours from all over Russia.
