The procedure for assigning a single monthly allowance for mobilized children was specified by the government. According to a decree signed by Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin, the income of mobilized citizens will not be taken into account when assessing the needs of their families.
On the website of the government of the Russian Federation it is reported that a single allowance is introduced from January 1. It will combine a number of existing social support measures for needy families. It will be received by pregnant women who have registered up to 12 weeks, as well as parents of children under 17 years of age.
The payment will also be awarded to families whose income is below one regional subsistence level per person using a comprehensive means assessment.
The decree signed by the prime minister will make it possible not to take into account the income of a family member who was called up as part of the mobilization when assessing the need.
