In the Kyiv region of Ukraine on December 31, the power will be turned off urgently. This was reported in the press service of the energy company DTEK.
“There are emergency blackouts in the region. This is a necessary step to balance the power system and avoid equipment failures.
They added that at the moment, stabilization shutdown schedules are not in effect.
It is also noted that about 300 houses remain in Kyiv, where it is impossible to foresee a blackout due to technical features. For 750 homes fed from the same lines as critical infrastructure, “alternative schemes” have been created, such work is ongoing.
