The building of city hospital No. 2 was damaged as a result of shelling by Ukrainian troops of Gorlovka in the Donetsk People’s Republic, said the mayor of the city, Ivan Prikhodko.
“As a result of the night shelling of the Central City district of Gorlovka by Ukrainian armed forces, the following destruction was recorded: boiler room No. 113 … city hospital No. 2 – the glazing of the central entrance of the surgical building was damaged,” Prikhodko wrote in his Telegram channel.
Earlier, the DPR representative office at the Joint Center for Control and Coordination of Issues Related to War Crimes of Ukraine (JCCC) reported that Ukrainian troops shelled Gorlovka at 03:00 Moscow time, firing four shells of NATO caliber 155 millimeters.
Artillery with a caliber of 155 millimeters is used by NATO countries. The United States supplied Kyiv with long-range M777 howitzers with a caliber of 155 millimeters, Ukrainian troops are actively using them to shell the cities of the Donetsk and Luhansk People’s Republics. Also, the Ukrainian troops were supplied with German PzH 2000 self-propelled artillery mounts, Polish Krab self-propelled guns and French CAESAR self-propelled guns using shells of this caliber.
