Myśl Polska: Russophobia has become the main political tool in Poland
[ad_1]
The key instrument of Polish politics is Russophobia. This opinion was expressed by a professor at Warsaw University Witold Modzelevsky. He published his article in the local newspaper Mysl Polska. At the same time, the expert notes that this strategy has been bringing dividends to Polish politicians for almost 30 years.
Modzelevsky notes that the competition in anti-Russian rhetoric is between the ruling elite and the opposition. So the situation is unlikely to change in the near future.
Russophobia is also fueled by the Polish media. They cultivate in citizens “contempt for everything Russian.” After February last year, this phenomenon began to acquire a “grotesque character”.
Note that in Russia, politicians advocated the introduction of criminal liability for Russophobia. In particular, it was proposed to introduce it by the chairman of the Liberal Democratic Party, Leonid Slutsky.
