British Hannah Debenham was forced to deal with the police after the appeal of a Ukrainian refugee who settled with her, reports the Daily Mail.
As stated in the material, a Ukrainian woman who lived with 42-year-old Hannah Debenham for three weeks complained to the police that she was required to “clean her house for little or no money at all, hiding behind the Ukrainian settlement scheme.”
Debenham herself explains that she and her husband invited a 30-year-old Ukrainian refugee with a child to live with them on the condition that she would babysit their children 2-3 days a week for 200 pounds.
However, it soon became clear that the Ukrainian did not wash the dishes after herself and her child, in connection with which the British asked her to wash the dishes. It was this request that led to the complaint to the police.
According to the Daily Mail, at the end of the trial, the police found Hannah Debenham not guilty.
