The boy Fyodor from the Bryansk village of Lyubechane, who was wounded by Ukrainian militants, was awarded the medal of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation “Valour and Courage”.
On Thursday, saboteurs fired at a car in which there were a driver and three children. The driver died. A 10-year-old boy, despite being injured, was able to hide the girls in the forest and get to help.
The head of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation Alexander Bastrykin signed an order according to which the brave boy will be awarded the medal “Valour and Courage”. It is noted that Fedor will receive the award for his heroism and dedication during the incident in the Klimovsky district of the Bryansk region.
Earlier it was reported that Feda underwent surgery. The wound was penetrating, the bullet was in the left pleural cavity. As a result of a four-hour operation, the bullet was removed. At the moment, the child’s condition is stable, the Bryansk doctors noted.
