The kettlebell lifting tournament “Snatch 2024” took place in Elista. 30 athletes from Elista, Tselinny, Sarpinsky and Priyutnensky districts competed in it.
The boys competed in three age categories in the snatch discipline with a time result of 10 minutes. Men in the absolute category performed a kettlebell snatch with a weight of 2024 times without timing and without a kettlebell platform.
In the youngest category, born in 2011 and younger, the winners were Mingiyan Sarvaev, Aldar Mandzhiev, Batu Khalgaev. Among the boys, the best were: Kirill Kitlyaev, Alexander Kukeev, Ochir Burulov, Ayuka Muchkaev, Sanal Ochirov and Badma Pavluev.
The winners of the competition were also determined among men in the 16 kg kettlebell snatch: Shamil Magdiev (1 hour 7 minutes), Basang Edeevm (1 hour 32 minutes), Mikhail Indzhiev (708 lifts in 1 hour 7 minutes).
