The best ax throwers from the NAO will be sent to Magadan

Three days in Naryan-Mar there were competitions in the northern all-around and national sports

More than 70 athletes from Kharuta, Khorey-Vera, Oksino, Nelmin-Nos, Krasny, Ust-Kara, Bugrino and Naryan-Mar took part in the competition.

Competitions were held in different age categories at the Nord Sports Palace, the sports hall on Pobedy Street, on the Pechora River and on the ski-roller track in Iskateley.

Athletes competed in running with a stick, throwing an ax and a tynzei for a distance, throwing a tynzei on a trochee, a triple national jump, jumping over sleds, the portal of the state bodies of the Nenets Autonomous Okrug reports.

The highest result in the sum of all disciplines of the all-around in the age group of 11-13 years was shown by Alexander Ivchenko from Oksino.

In the age group of 11-13 years old among girls, a young resident of Ust-Kara, Kira Khatanzeyskaya, won.

The winner in the age group of 14-15 years among boys was Denis Taleev, a native of Nelmin-Nos, in the same age group among girls, Evelina Manzadey from Kharuta won.

Among men in the age group of 16 years and older, Artyom Latyshev from Naryan-Mar became the best.

In the age group of amateur athletes, Timofey Ledkov from Naryan-Mar won the all-around, among girls – Maria Valei from Kharuta.

– In general, I think the competition was successful. Despite the difficult weather conditions, the guys showed good results, showed patience and the will to win. Let me remind you that three out of five competitions are held on the street. I am glad that more and more teams are participating, new faces are appearing,” said Roman Latyshev, chairman of the regional branch of the All-Russian public organization “Northern All-Around Federation of Russia” in the NAO.

According to the results of the competition, the best athletes will form the district team, which will go to represent the region at the championship and the championship of Russia in Magadan from March 18 to 26.
