In hospitals in the city of Belgorod, there is a shortage of operating rooms against the backdrop of SVO. This was announced by the head of the Belgorod region Vyacheslav Gladkov.
On the air of “10 Questions for the Governor,” a resident of the region asked him a question. She reminded Gladkov of his earlier promise not to take citizens to medical institutions in other areas. However, patients are still referred there instead. A resident of the region asked the governor to fix this problem.
Vyacheslav Gladkov replied that the problem was partially solved, since in the case of surgical diseases they cannot change the routing of patients. According to the governor, there are not enough operating rooms in hospitals due to the SVO.
The governor noted that the situation could be improved by an emergency hospital, the construction of which is scheduled for 2024.
