Moscow will face either rain or clear skies

A big surprise could be the weather for residents of the capital region at the end of the week. The Scandinavian anticyclone will enter into battle with the North Atlantic cyclone, and depending on the outcome of this fight, Moscow will face either rain or clear skies.

As MK learned, in the next couple of days an anticyclone will hover over the Mother See, which runs from Finland to Kazakhstan. It will bring a deficit of atmospheric precipitation to the region – the weather will be clear and slightly above zero. However, by the end of the week, the atmospheric front of the North Atlantic cyclone will begin to influence the capital region: it will burst in quite noisily – with gusty winds and rain. However, the crest of the Scandinavian anticyclone has every chance of shifting it to the south. Two titans will enter into battle, and depending on who wins, he will “make the difference” further.

However, even if we don’t see rain until the beginning of April, the weak sun will not warm the air above +4 degrees. Forecaster Mikhail Leus notes that snow melting will not be too intense. The snow cover will disappear in the capital region only by April 10, but this is not certain either.
