The Basmanny Court of Moscow has already twice a month postponed a hearing on the claim of the Ministry of Justice of the Russian Federation on the liquidation of the Sokhnut agency in connection with the request of its representative Andrei Grishaev, a TASS correspondent reports from the courtroom.
As noted, the court granted the request of the representative of the agency and postponed the meeting to October 19, 2022.
On July 21, the Basmanny Court of Moscow told about the receipt of a lawsuit by the Russian Ministry of Justice, which sets out a demand to liquidate the Sokhnut agency, which has the status of an autonomous non-profit organization in the Russian Federation. On the same day, Israeli Prime Minister Yair Lapid called an urgent meeting, which was devoted to this issue.
Recall that the “Sohnut” is an international organization based in Israel and engaged in repatriation to the country and assistance to repatriates, issues related to Jewish-Zionist education, and the global Jewish community.
