The Russian Defense Ministry has published a video of the combat work of the crews of the Ka-52 and Mi-28 attack helicopters, which, during a special military operation, eliminate equipment and manpower of the Ukrainian army.
The military department noted that pilots fly in mixed combat pairs, due to which the strike potential of single crews of two types of helicopters is growing.
As noted, the pilots approach the zone of combat use at an extremely low altitude with enveloping the terrain, which makes it possible for the crews to remain unnoticed by enemy air defense systems. During a fire attack, helicopter crews launched unguided aircraft missiles from a pitch-up, which increases the radius of destruction and gives increased survivability of the crews by reducing the flight time in the enemy’s air defense detection zone.
