The Bank of Canada decided to issue bonds in support of Ukraine

In Canada, at the end of November 2022, it is planned to issue five-year bonds for 500 million Canadian dollars (374 million US dollars) in order to finance Ukraine. This was reported by the Bank of Canada.
Representatives of the Bank of Canada emphasize that with the help of bonds they expect to help Kyiv with financing. Canada has been providing military and financial assistance to Ukraine since February 2022.
Earlier it became known that Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau decided to provide additional military assistance to Ukraine. It will also cost 500 million Canadian dollars. The total amount of assistance has amounted to more than 3.4 billion Canadian dollars since the start of the special military operation of Russian troops in Ukraine.
