At the beginning of November, the summer-autumn part of the 2023-2024 season ended for the players of the Ivanovo Tekstilshchik. The club from Ivanovo played in the “Silver” division of the Second League “A” and, as planned by the management, was supposed to move to a higher level, but expectations and reality did not coincide. The club from Ivanovo was unable to qualify for the “Golden” division and only thanks to the victory over the outsider retained its place in the “Silver” division.
During the summer transfer window, the composition of the Ivanovo Tekstilshchik was seriously updated. The red-black squad was replenished with various players who came to Ivanovo to strengthen absolutely all positions on the field. There was practically no time to play, and some players were added to the roster during the championship. By the end of the transfer window, Tekstilshchik had fully formed its squad, and its average age was 26 years. Some of the red-black’s opponents fielded young players, while others sent “veterans” into the fray.
Let us remind you that according to the results of the summer-autumn part of the 2023-2024 season, Tekstilshchik took 5th place and could not get promoted to the Golden division.
