The authorities of the Belgorod region will keep the salaries of municipal employees and employees of budgetary institutions evacuated from the Shebekinsky district. This was announced by Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov at an operational meeting with the government of the region.

He believes that it is necessary to “create permanent jobs” at each temporary accommodation point, because “there will be many problems.” “It would be better if we create, for example, information centers. People will not actually be engaged in their professional activities, but they will receive wages,” the governor said (quoted by TASS).

According to him, it is not known how long the evacuation will last. Mr. Gladkov expressed the hope that it “will not be so long.” “But this does not mean that people should sit idle. There are a lot of young people, middle-aged people, able-bodied people who are ready to earn money,” Vyacheslav Gladkov is convinced.
