The authorities of the Zaporozhye region complained that Kyiv does not let water into the Kakhovka reservoir

Volodymyr Rogov, a member of the main council of the administration of the Zaporozhye region, said that the Ukrainian authorities are holding back the flow of water from the Dnieper reservoirs. In his opinion, a decrease in the water level in the Kakhovka reservoir can lead to an environmental disaster and disruption of the Zaporizhzhya NPP (ZNPP).
According to Volodymyr Rogov, the leadership of Ukraine is blocking the supply of water from hydroelectric power plants located upstream, including the Dnieper, Srednedneprovsk, Kaniv and Kyiv. “At least a cascade of four HPPs is not discharging water now,” he told RIA Novosti.
Formerly pro-Russian authorities in Zaporozhye reported on the cessation of shelling of the ZNPP.
