The authorities of Primorye supported the residents of the suburbs of Vladivostok in a land dispute with the Ministry of Defense

Primorsky Territory Governor Oleg Kozhemyako sent a letter to Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu with a request to resolve the land issue in the suburbs of Vladivostok. Earlier it became known that the military department, on the basis of documents from 1932 and 1939, is seeking the annulment of ownership of approximately 300 land plots in the Sadgorod region.
“The administration (of Vladivostok – Kommersant) provided the site to my father due to disability, which later passed to my husband and I for use. We sold an apartment in the city and decided to build a house. Now we have received a lawsuit, since October we have been living like on a powder keg, not knowing how this story will end,” Lyubov Zubareva, the leader of the initiative group of Sadgorod residents, quotes press office governments of the region.
“Preliminary conclusions of experts indicate that citizens acquired and received plots in different years on legal grounds. We have already sent a corresponding letter to the Ministry of Defense, and I am sure that they will sort out this story, ”— declared Governor Kozhemyako on the results of the meeting with the residents of Sadgorod, held on Wednesday, March 15.
On the eve it became known that the inhabitants of Sadgorod become receive lawsuits from the Ministry of Defense for the annulment of ownership of the land where they now live. “The basis of the claims are documents dated 1932 and 1939, which indicate that the land belonged to the military department. This may affect 300 families,” Mr. Kozhemyako wrote in his Telegram channel.
The Investigation Department of the ICR for Primorye announced the start of a pre-investigation check on the grounds of a crime under Part 1 of Art. 293 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (negligence). The department intends to check the information about the violation of the rights of citizens in the issuance of land plots in the Sadgorod district.
