The authorities of the Eastern Administrative District of Moscow refused to hold a religious procession for 400 people to the general director of the Spas TV channel and TV presenter Boris Korchevnikov. About this Korchevnikov wrote in your telegram channel.
According to the host, the procession was supposed to pay attention to the construction of a large mosque on a plot of land that is considered holy among Orthodox Christians.
The procession was supposed to take place at the territory of the church on the Holy Lake – the Kosinskaya Icon of the Mother of God is stored here: the construction of the mosque should begin at this place.
Also, the general director of “Spas” commented on the reason that the city authorities referred to the ban on the move: the epidemiological situation.
“Not a single religious procession in history has turned into a rally or Maidan. On the contrary, religious processions stopped the invasions of enemies, wars, pandemics, upheavals, disagreements and cataclysms,” said Boris Korchevnikov.
