In Primorsky Krai, “as well as throughout the country”, the traditional face-to-face procession of the “Immortal Regiment” on May 9 has been canceled. This was reported by the press service of the government of the region, at the same time offering a number of alternatives to the procession.

“Everyone will be able to join the online march of the Immortal Regiment. To do this, you need to upload a photo of your heroes to the site moypolk.ru. The pictures will be shown on May 9 on major TV channels, ”the report says. press release.

It is also proposed to take part in the “Immortal auto regiment”. “To do this, you need to place a photo of the hero with a nominal signature inside the car under the side or rear window. At the same time, care should be taken to ensure that the car is clean on Victory Day, and the windows are not tinted, because this is the only way to tell about the feat of the ancestor, ”advise the authorities of the region.

The “Heroes with Us” campaign involves wearing a T-shirt with a “portrait of your hero” printed on it, and the “Portrait of a Hero in the Heart” campaign involves wearing a badge with a small photo of a person who “has spared nothing to protect his Fatherland.”

Residents of Primorye are also encouraged to decorate the windows of their houses (the “Windows of Victory” campaign) with appropriate stickers. “You can depict, for example, a dove – a bird symbolizing peace, carnations – flowers associated with the blood of Russian soldiers shed for the Motherland, or a St. George ribbon – a sign of memory of the heroes of the war,” informs the press service of the regional government.

Anyone can hang in the windows and on the balconies “copies of the Banner of Victory” (action “Flags of Victory”).

“Another simple format for participating in the online march of the Immortal Regiment is replacing a photo on your page on social networks with a portrait of a hero relative who fought against fascism during the Great Patriotic War,” the press service of the government of Primorye clarifies.

In memory of those who died in the Great Patriotic War, it is proposed to plant flowers, shrubs or trees (the “Garden of Memory” campaign) and improve monuments and memorials (“Return the name of the hero”).
