The author of the hit “Vladimir Putin – well done” called his work “mental spanking”

On the beach in Alushta, the animators cheerfully danced to the song of the Ukrainian artist Verka Serduchka. As a result, they had to apologize and sing on camera the song “Vladimir Putin is well done!”, which was recorded in the summer of 2014 by the Kazan toastmaster Oleg Likhachev. In the wake of the hype that arose, his video for a song about “Putin the Young Guy” gained more than 2.2 million views on YouTube. About the reaction to the new reading of the ode to the president by the animators of Alushta, “MK” decided to ask the author of the performer himself.

– How do you like the quality of the animators?

“The girls didn’t sing, but read my song poorly,” the author and performer told MK, “Vladimir Putin is well done!” artist Oleg Likhachev. – I doubt that the animators are not familiar with the hit and do not have an ear for music, so I got the impression that they apologized on the principle of “the worse, the better”, so that with all their displeased appearance and kindergarten recitative, hint at their loyalty to the opponents of the CBO.

– And how do you regard the very fact that your song is played as a punishment?

– Honestly, at first the situation with my song amused. As they say, that’s what a life-giving hit does to people! Seriously, I’m pleasantly surprised that the song takes on a healing function. I think that this mental “spanking” is reasonable, humane and expedient. It is not difficult to imagine what will happen to those who now in Ukraine will publicly perform “Vladimir Putin – well done!”

– Do you perform the songs of Verka Serduchka yourself?

– In addition to being a singer and presenter, I am also a DJ. After 2014, I did not play the song “The Party”, but only “Dolce Gabbana” and “Everything will be fine.” But after the start of the military operation, I don’t want to put on these songs either, because they are performed by a Russophobe!

What new songs have appeared in your repertoire?

– In recent years, inspiration has visited me much less often than desired. Of the latter: “I dreamed of Buzova”, “Tender Basque” and “Anthem of Russian doctors”. I have 45 songs and their implementation is a priority. If at least a few songs fly into rotation on radio and TV, then perhaps the muse will return. I plan to dedicate a song to Lukashenka.

– Do you have any songs for the Shaman?

– The Shaman has his own style and his own charisma. According to him, the song “Let’s Get Up” was broadcast to him by the Universe. It was the same with me with the hit “Vladimir Putin – well done.” We each have our own separate supply chain for great songs, and they don’t overlap. Although a year ago, through the administrator, I offered Shaman a collaboration on “Vladimir Putin – well done.” But, according to the administrator, the proposal was not interested.

– Your hit “Vladimir Putin – well done!” sung by many famous singers. Whose performance would you like?

– Well, let’s say they didn’t quail, but used it. The list of “my” fans includes Morgenstern (recognized as a foreign agent in the Russian Federation), Creed, Carnival, Milokhin, Khabib, Pokrov, Ship, Marusya and others. They opened their mouths in tik-tok under it. Morgenstern danced and smoked.

– How and what do you live now, where do you perform?

– I share two cities – Moscow and Zvenigorod. I live, like most people, back to back. I act in episodes in films and taxi. The fees are very small, there is barely enough money to pay for apartments, alimony – and even then not always. They don’t invite you to big TV shows. So I’m waiting for an invitation. Maybe then I’ll pay off my debts. At corporate parties, politics is usually avoided. In general, I’m interested in performing a hit at an event in the presence of the president. His reaction is interesting.

Why can’t art be out of politics?

Why can’t he? Maybe! If creativity does not have an explicit or latent political color. The lyrical tracks are, of course, apolitical. In the case of the song “Gulyanochka”, a separate line of which “Ukraine has not died yet” carries a political, anti-Russian connotation. Serduchka’s Russophobic position is proof of this. Well, in general, those public artists who are apolitical, that’s their right. But if they have a civic position and broadcast it with creativity or comments, then political responsibility arises!

– What do you think about patriotic songs and their performers, are there enough of them in the country?

– Russia is full of nuggets and patriotic singer-songwriters abound. But there is not enough attention to them from representatives of showbiz and the media. Therefore, hundreds of magnificent, patriotic songs are not heard by the multi-million Russian audience.
