– I would like to thank the fans who came to support us and gave the team an advantage. The atmosphere was amazing, 26,000 spectators gathered in the stands. This is something players should enjoy. I think we deserved to win. We could have won bigger, but a few of our shots were saved by the CSKA goalkeeper. We played good football today. Most of the match went according to plan. They tried to break the defensive lines of the army through the movement along the flanks, they beat from afar. The opponent came to defend the result of the first match, they played on defense and waited for counterattacks. Today we did not allow anything to create one of the strongest teams in the country. In Moscow, the opponent adapted better to the weather conditions at a strong sub-zero temperature and was able to win big.
Vladimir Ivic expressed confidence that the team “is on the right track.”
We work well every day. Players understand what we require of them. The infrastructure in the club is of the highest European level. There is no past tense in football, there is only the future, so we are already starting to think about a tough match on Sunday with Torpedo.
The Serbian specialist also said that he began to study Russian.
– I started studying on my own after returning from the training camp. I want to learn the language because I work here and respect the people who invited me.
