Denis Kapustin, the alleged participant in the attack on the Bryansk villages and the organizer of the assassination attempt on the head of the Tsargrad group of companies Konstantin Malofeev, was included in the list of terrorists and extremists of Rosfinmonitoring, follows from the updated list on the website of the department.
On March 2, two groups of armed people from the territory of Ukraine invaded two villages in the Bryansk region – Sushany and Lyubechany. Russian authorities reported that two people were killed in the clashes. Russian President Vladimir Putin considered incident of a terrorist attack. Ukrainian authorities deny his involvement. The “Russian Volunteer Corps” fighting on the side of the Armed Forces of Ukraine took responsibility for the attack. March 5 MIA announced on the wanted list of another alleged participant in the attack – Ilya Bogdanov.
March 6 FSB informed on preventing the assassination attempt on Konstantin Malofeev. According to the FSB, they planned to kill Mr. Malofeev by blowing up the car with an explosive device. The FSB named Denis Kapustin as the alleged organizer of the assassination attempt. Currently, it is located on the territory of Ukraine.
