The All-Russian competition in aerial gymnastics “Kazan Cup” was held

From May 6 to May 7, Kazan hosted the last qualifying competitions in aerial gymnastics and pylon sports, called the Kazan Cup, on the eve of the June Russian Championship. More than 180 young and talented athletes aged 4 to 30+ from all over Russia, including regions such as the Astrakhan region, the Republic of Mari El, the Rostov region, the Moscow region, the Chuvash Republic and others, came together to compete and show their capabilities. The competition was held by the All-Russian “National Federation of Air Gymnastics and Pole Sports” together with the League of NEBO SPORT.
Within the framework of the event, the athletes performed in three categories: solo performance, duets and groups, using air canvases, slings and rings for their numbers. The guests of the competition enjoyed the exciting performances and supported the participants with their applause. In addition, the competition helped the gymnasts improve their ratings and get new sports categories. And gymnasts from the city of Astrakhan left the competition with four gold medals, three silver and one bronze medal. It should be noted that all participants of the Kazan Cup received memorable gifts for their merits.
