The prosecutor’s office demanded to recognize the actions of the Nazis in the Moscow region as genocide

The prosecutor’s office of the Moscow region, on behalf of the Prosecutor General of Russia Igor Krasnov, filed an application with the court for the recognition of the Nazis in Germany during the Great Patriotic War in the Moscow region as genocide. This was reported by the press service of the Prosecutor General’s Office of the Russian Federation.

According to the prosecutor’s office, it was established that the region occupied by the Nazis, as well as the local residents, were to become a resource base for Germany, providing them with everything necessary in order to continue the war. Because of this, civilians were tortured, they were killed, robbed, and also driven out of their homes in order to equip military units there.

It is noted that during the occupation of the territory, the number of victims among the civilian population amounted to over 26 thousand people, and the amount of material damage was about 6.4 trillion rubles.
