After the match in the 11th round of the RPL, which took place on Sunday, October 2, in Voronezh and ended with a score of 2: 2, Fakel managed to rise in the standings from 14th to 12th place. At the same time, despite the points scored, the Moscow “Torpedo” remained in the same last, 16th place.
But the defender of the capital’s team, Igor Smolnikov, was recognized as the best player of this match – in the 64th minute he managed to score a decisive goal against the winning Fakel, and thereby level the score.
