Thai Ambassador to Russia Sasivat Wongsinsawat told TASS that the kingdom can receive Russians without any coronavirus restrictions.
“Let me share the good news,” the ambassador said, referring to the coronavirus restrictions.
According to him, “passengers are no longer required to present any documents related to the coronavirus upon arrival in Thailand.”
That is, “no quarantine and no additional documents are required.”
Wongsinsawat also said that Thailand offers “excellent hospitality” to all foreign friends, including Russians.
He noted that travel to the kingdom has recently become popular among so-called digital nomads, and the Thai capital has received high marks in areas such as accessibility, weather, transportation and broadband internet speed.
The Thai government has developed long-term resident visas for four groups of travelers: wealthy citizens, wealthy retirees, professionals working in Thailand, and highly qualified professionals. In addition, the fee for issuing this type of visa has been halved, Wongsinsawat added.
