About 40 thousand residents of Crimea remain without electricity due to bad weather on the peninsula, the government of the Republic of Crimea told Kommersant.
According to experts, in 88 settlements of Crimea, due to storm winds and freezing rain over the weekend, more than 50 thousand citizens were left without electricity. Three hundred specialists were involved in emergency restoration work. On Sunday they managed to restore power supply to more than 10 thousand subscribers.
Let us remind you that at the end of last week a storm warning was announced in Crimea, expecting the wind to increase to 20-25 m per second in the southern and eastern regions of the peninsula, and the air temperature approached zero.
