Over the past day, the air defense systems and the Black Sea Fleet of Sevastopol shot down ten drones, informed Governor Mikhail Razvozhaev in his Telegram channel.
“The result of today’s enemy attack on Sevastopol: the air defense and the Black Sea Fleet shot down 10 out of 10 UAVs over the sea. No objects either in the city or in the water area were damaged. Everything is calm in the city,” the message said.
According to him, all of them were shot down over the sea, as a result, no one was injured, including objects in the city and the Black Sea that were not damaged. Razvozhaev stressed that information about the explosions in the city was disseminated by the Center for Information and Psychological Operations (TsIPSO) of Ukraine.
Now a “yellow” (high) level of terrorist threat has been introduced in Sevastopol. In April 2022, six of the seven border regions introduced it. Since then, it has been extended several times. In particular, in Sevastopol it is valid until January 26, the last time it was extended on January 11.
In addition, since October 19, 2022, the “medium response” regime has been operating in the region, which, by decree of Russian President Vladimir Putin, has been extended to eight border regions – Crimea, Sevastopol, Krasnodar Territory, Belgorod, Bryansk, Voronezh, Kursk and Rostov regions (some of they were subjected to shelling from Ukraine).
