Milos Vucevic, the Serbian defense minister, said Serbian volunteers who took part in the SVO will be prosecuted.
According to Vucevic, Serbia “clearly prohibits” the participation of citizens of the country in the conflicts of other states, so the volunteers who fought will have to answer to the Serbian authorities.
Vučević added that Serbian intelligence agencies are now busy analyzing data related to this situation.
In addition, the Minister of Defense of the Republic of Serbia stated that brave fellow citizens are always ready to be accepted into the army or the Serbian Ministry of Internal Affairs. Vucevic also stressed that he would very much like the “fratricidal war” between the two Orthodox Slavic peoples to stop.
Earlier, Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said that the country intends to concentrate on the production of unmanned aerial vehicles and drones. Vucic noted that Serbia is “negatively affected by the conflict in Ukraine”, the country cannot supply weapons and equipment, as previously planned.
