Young boxers of the Arkhangelsk region returned with ten awards from the zonal championship. Starts among boys aged 13-14 were held in Syktyvkar. This was reported by the press service of the regional Ministry of Sports. More than 100 strongest boxers from the Arkhangelsk, Vologda, Leningrad, Murmansk, Kaliningrad, Novgorod and Pskov regions, the Republics of Komi and Karelia, as well as the Nenets Autonomous Okrug took part in the competition.
Within the framework of the zonal championship, which was held with the support of the federal project “Sport is the norm of life”, 16 sets of awards were played. The Arkhangelsk region was represented by 15 athletes from Arkhangelsk, Severodvinsk, Koryazhma, Mirny, Velsk and Nyandoma.
The national team of Pomorye won two gold, two silver and six bronze medals.
