Tekstilshchik’s winter break in 2024 will be significantly shorter

On November 11, the players of the Ivanovo Tekstilshchik played the final match as part of the summer-autumn part of the 2023-2024 season. The team from Ivanovo played in the “Silver” division of the Second League “A” and for several months fought to fulfill the task set by the management. The coaching staff and Tekstilshchik players were expected to get into the top 4 of the Silver division, but the red-blacks failed to achieve ultimate success. Igor Kolyvanov’s team took only 5th place, losing 1 point to Chelyabinsk.
After the final match of the year, the Tekstilshchik players went on vacation and in the near future the red-blacks should begin a training camp under the leadership of Igor Kolyvanov. The Ivanovo team should return from vacation in mid-January, just like their rivals, who announced plans to prepare for the spring stage of the season. The early departure from vacation is due to the fact that the break in the Second League “A” was shortened by a month. If last year Tekstilshchik started in the spring part of the season in April, now official matches will begin on March 2-3.
Let us remind you that Tekstilshchik will spend the spring part of the 2023-2024 season in the Silver Division of the Second League “A”.
