“Tekstilshchik” will play with “Metallurg” in the “League of Peppers”

On August 12, FC “Tekstilshchik” from Ivanovo will play in the match of the 5th round of the “Silver” division of the Second League. The red-blacks will have the third away match of the season, Igor Kolyvanov’s wards will go to Lipetsk, where for the first time in the Second League they will play against Metallurg, which played in the First League just a few years ago. Metallurg left the First League at the end of the 2021-2022 season, as did Tekstilshchik.
The match against “Metallurg” is important for “Tekstilshchik” not only from the point of view of the standings of the “Silver” division of the Second League. In the 2023-2024 season, Tekstilshchik takes part in the Pepper League, a symbolic tournament of four red and black teams playing in the Silver Division of Group A of the Second League.
Last weekend, “Tekstilshchik” played the first match in the “League of Peppers” and defeated Perm “Amkar”. In the 5th round of the “Silver” division, the red-black teams will play each other. “Tekstilshchik” will go to visit “Metallurg”, and “Forte” and “Amkar” will play in Perm.
