The players of the Ivanovo “Textilshchik” continue preparations for the start of the spring part of the 2023-2024 season in the “Silver” division of the Second League “A”. The Ivanovo team returned from vacation on January 12 and began the training process, which took place in Novorossiysk. During the time spent in Novorossiysk, the red-blacks took part in 6 control matches and won 3 victories, being stronger than the backup squad of FC Rostov, Druzhby from Maykop and FC Vista. In other matches, Tekstilshchik lost to Sokol and FC Murom. Another confrontation ended peacefully.
On February 19, Igor Kolyvanov’s team is scheduled to have another test match, which was not initially included in the plan for the second training camp. The red-blacks will test their strength against the background of the Ontustik team, which is not performing well in the second most important division of Kazakh football. Previously, these opponents had not met in control or official matches, which is logical, given the geography and status of the teams as representatives of non-top national championships.
Let us remind you that the test match between Tekstilshchik and Kazakh Ontustik will take place on February 19. The meeting is scheduled to start at 11:00 Moscow time.
