Previously, volleyball in the Ivanovo region was represented exclusively at the amateur level, but in 2023 this situation became history. In the spring of 2023, Tekstilshchik competed in the final stage of the First League and, in front of their own fans, became the bronze medalist of the All-Russian competition. This success served as an impetus for the creation of a professional team in Ivanovo.
In the summer, “Textilshchik” entered the Major League “B”, and in the fall he made a successful debut at the professional level. Based on the results of 22 matches played in the regular season, Tekstilshchik takes 3rd place in the Major League “B”, having suffered only 4 defeats.
