At the beginning of November, the summer-autumn part of the 2023-2024 season in the Second Leagues “A” and “B” ended. This season has become revolutionary for the third strongest division of Russian football. The traditional division of the Second League into groups on a geographical basis has become a thing of history. Now the Second League consists of 3 different championships, interconnected by the exchange of teams. In the Second League “A” clubs are fighting for promotion to the First League, and in the Second League “B” those who will be demoted to amateurs or move to a higher level are determined.
Tekstilshchik did not spend the first part of the 2023-2024 season in the best way, being left without promotion to the Golden Division of the Second League A. The red-blacks planned to compete for promotion to the First League in the spring, but Igor Kolyvanov’s team failed to complete the task.
The management and employees of the Second League want their project to develop and keep up with the times. That is why a survey was launched on the social networks of all Second League clubs regarding the attractiveness of the third strongest division of Russian football. Fans are being asked to comment on how they would like to see certain areas that are controversial. Completing the survey should indicate the sore spots of the Second League, so that during the winter break management and employees can correct as many comments as possible.
