Teenagers and amateurs: Seredkin spoke about the support of football in Transbaikalia

The Ministry of Sports of the Trans-Baikal Territory will continue to support youth football. About how and at what expense this support will be provided, said the head of the department Andrei Seredkin after a meeting with public figures at the site of the “People’s Front”.

“We still have a youth football team born in 2007-2008, they play in the Youth Football League. We provide them with uniforms, because all other expenses are covered by the Russian Football Union. We keep children’s and youth games. We provide funding for teams to travel to competitions in the regions of Siberia and the Far East, as well as to tailor uniforms. We will try to reduce parental fees to a minimum,” the minister said.

In addition, in Transbaikalia there is a team of the third, amateur, league. She, according to Seredkin, will also be preserved.

“The Siberian representation has 12 such teams, including ours. We challenge them to take a place in the top five in the final standings. About 8 million rubles are planned for them. Expenses will include travel to competitions, uniforms and pre-match training. We assume that these guys will become the basis of a professional team,” the head of the Ministry of Sports added.

Also, 4 million rubles will be allocated for mass football – two million from the budget and the same amount from extrabudgetary sources.

Earlier, “MK in Chita” spoke about the disagreement of the parents of young football players with the construction site of the Lukodrome at the Lokomotiv stadium. Later it became known that the the sports facility will be moved 500 meters from the stadium and will be built on a spare training field.

The public asked save them space for training at the Lukodrom.
