After all, raising children is a mutual action on the part of the family and on the part of the school. Only by establishing effective and friendly cooperation in the family-school connection can we achieve the desired result – so that our children leave school not only with knowledge, but also worthy citizens of Russia and highly moral, healthy, culturally and historically enlightened people.

As Russian Minister of Education Sergei Kravtsov once said, the education system faces serious challenges that can only be solved together with parents, so the education system must be open to them. Parents must become allies of teachers and school directors’ advisors so that the education system is understandable to them, but at the same time, the educational community must receive feedback from parents – suggestions and ideas that are important for raising children.

The Ministry of Education of Russia is building a systematic educational work with parents – the so-called parent university, which includes open meetings for parents of children of all ages – from kindergarten to secondary vocational education organizations, the creation of parent associations, and holding educational lectures on key issues of education.





“Parents today are active participants in the educational process, so successful studies and the child’s interest in extracurricular activities depend on their involvement,” said MK. Director of the Federal State Budgetary Institution “Rosdetcenter” Alexander Kudryashov.

One of the most effective tools today for raising children in the spirit of high moral values ​​is extracurricular activities “Talking about important things.” According to Alexander Kudryashov, “Talks about important things” are “one of the forms of dialogue not only with children, but also with the parent community, which allows expanding the educational space beyond the boundaries of the educational organization.” In addition, advisors introduce parents to First Movement projects, conduct team games, and much more.

MK spoke about the importance of building communication between teachers and parents for the benefit of the child with the advisor to the director of education of municipal educational institution No. 22 of the city. Lyubertsy with Lyubov Panina, who worked as a primary school teacher for 27 years, and now teaches children in a new position. “School is an island of education, and home is the mainland,” she says.

“Upbringing in a family is the most important moment in the formation of personal qualities,” says Lyubov Panina. “Therefore, as a counselor, I always need to interact with the parents of schoolchildren. I do this through cooperation with parents: these are joint events, meetings, trips. I post a lot of information about school life on the school website. The social network VK provides me with great help. I try to increase the interest of the audience: I come up with various competitions, release videos, and conduct surveys. Parents follow our busy school life. I think that children use photographs to share with their parents what they liked best or remembered from school events.

The school-wide chat of the VK network contains a lot of useful content: various activities and news for parents. For example: “10 practical tips on how to make your children’s childhood happy” or “Film Pedagogy” offers a free family video course. At any time and anywhere, you can watch short and most interesting videos about family video creativity with your whole family… The youth “First Movement” presents us with a lot of activities.

Trust and mutual understanding are also important points in the “adviser-parent” relationship. Therefore, in my work, I try not to ignore any opportunity to talk with parents and listen to their opinion.





Only by involving parents in school life will we be able to develop value-based attitudes towards children, become allies and remember that we have one task – the well-being of the child, his present and future, and raising our children to be worthy citizens of Russia.
