Singer Lyubov Uspenskaya received Russian citizenship, the singer herself told TASS.
Earlier in the media, the singer said that she has US citizenship, despite the fact that she has been living and performing in Russia for many years.
Uspenskaya said that she had already celebrated receiving Russian citizenship. “I am happy that I am now a citizen of a great power,” she said, adding that she has always loved Russia. “My dream has come true,” she admitted.
The singer plans to release a new album called “My Strength is with Me,” which will be released in the spring.
