Massukh: All DDoS attacks on the electronic voting system were successfully repelled overnight

Over the past night, we managed to successfully repel all DDoS attacks on the remote electronic voting system (DEG), and the system continues to operate normally. Deputy head of the Public Headquarters for Election Observation Ilya Massukh told reporters about this on Sunday.

“The system is working normally, a fairly large number of voters, it seems, has already exceeded the number of 3 million 200 thousand. There were attacks as they were, even at night, and this night, but at the same time this did not in any way affect the progress of the voting,” he said Massuh.

Today, March 17, is the last day of the Russian presidential elections. You can cast your vote using DEG until 20:00; polling stations will also close at 20:00.
