“I have nothing to do there (in the Duma). I’m not the person who should sit there, I need to work in my profession,” Tarasova said.
She noted that to work in the State Duma you need to have a desire to work for the state.
She also said that she does not feel any effects from the work of famous athletes in the Duma. Because, as a result, “our athletes and Olympic champions live meagerly and do not enjoy any benefits,” she believes.
