Tambov athlete took silver at the Russian Blind Sports Championship

A student of the Tambov sports-adaptive school, Roland Margiev, took “silver” at the Russian Championship in Sports for the Blind. The young man distinguished himself in the discipline of powerlifting.
The competition took place in the capital of the Urals – Yekaterinburg. In total, 80 athletes from 22 regions of the Russian Federation took part in the competition.
In the first approach, the Tambov resident lifted a weight of 110 kg, and in the second, the young man confidently bench pressed 115 kg.
At the moment, the athlete’s personal record is 120 kg. He is separated from the title of “Master of Sports” by only 2.5 kg.
